My Role
Media & Marketing Coordinator (2018-2020), Media & Marketing Committee Member (2017-2018)
As the Media & Marketing Coordinator for my scholarship organization, I lead the Media & Marketing committee, and I was responsible for delegating various design-oriented and communicative-based projects such as the annual RCSA yearbook, Adobe CC workshops, and RCSA merchandise design. After interviewing and selecting committee members in the fall semester, I held weekly meetings throughout the year, where I helped develop my committee's eye for design and individual skills in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, and DSLR photography through project based assignments. The committee is responsible for maintaining comprehensive event documentation and creating consistency in communication across our organization. I teach my close-knit team of seven the fundamentals of design and photography, starting from the basics, such as adding text to backgrounds in Photoshop, color theory, and the exposure triangle. I am responsible for delegating weekly tasks and keeping my committee focused and on track toward meeting our organizational deadlines, while troubleshooting any issues that may arise along the way.
Logo Redesign
In summer 2019, I redesigned the logo to have a more modern aesthetic feel and helped create the 2019-2020 design system, which includes the official organizational color palette and fonts, as seen below. The old logo went through a handful of variations, one of which is depicted. It was internally discussed with other organizational leaders and determined to be "too cutesy" and was thus readjusted to what it is now.

Organizational Rebranding
Merchandise and apparel designs depicted below are the results of leading one Adobe Illustrator workshop before assigning this project to my committee. Proceeds from the sales are used by the organization to host large scale events such as the Regents' Overnight Host Program and industry dinners for networking opportunities.
